If your WiFiBOX does not respond when connected to a charger, the issue may be with either the device or the charger.
If the problem continues after trying multiple chargers, the WiFiBOX may be faulty.
What to check first
We recommend using a USB Type-C charger
WiFiBOX devices generally charge more reliably with a USB Type-C charger.
The charger may not provide enough power
Check the OUTPUT shown on the charger.
If the output is 1A or less, it may not provide enough power. This may cause issues such as:
- The device does not charge at all
- Charging stops partway through
- The battery only charges to around 50%
The charger may be designed for a specific device
Chargers designed specifically for products such as iPhones or IQOS devices may not charge your WiFiBOX properly.
Please use a standard USB charger that is compatible with a wide range of devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
Charger compatibility may vary. We recommend trying more than one charger.
If the problem continues
If the issue continues after trying multiple chargers, the WiFiBOX may be faulty.
When
contacting us, please include a photo of the charger you used.
Tips for taking photos and videos
Please make sure the charger specifications, including the OUTPUT information, are clearly visible in the photo.
If possible, also send us a video showing what happens when you connect the WiFiBOX to the charger. This will help us assist you more quickly.
