What Wi-Fi frequencies does WiFiBOX support?


The supported Wi-Fi frequencies depend on the type of device you are using.

  1. 4G device: 2.4 GHz
  2. 5G device: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz

4G devices

4G devices support the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band.

5G devices

5G devices support both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands.

WiFiBOX automatically selects the most suitable frequency based on the connection environment, so you do not need to change any settings.

Notes
On 5G devices, the same SSID (Wi-Fi network name) is used for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The device automatically connects using the most suitable frequency.
