However, some airlines may treat it as a power bank, so please be aware of limits on the number of batteries you can carry.

If you are also carrying your own power bank, the total number may be limited to two, including your WiFiBOX.

Under the rules of Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, up to two power banks with a capacity of 160 Wh or less may be carried in the aircraft cabin.

Because WiFiBOX can supply power to smartphones and other devices, some airlines may treat it as a power bank.

If you are carrying your own power bank, the total number may be limited to two, including your WiFiBOX.

Please make sure you do not exceed the airline’s carry-on limit.

WiFiBOX has a battery capacity of approximately 20–30 Wh, which is below the 160 Wh limit.
