Can I ship my WiFiBOX from outside Japan to return it?


No. As a general rule, WiFiBOX devices cannot be returned by shipping them from outside Japan.


Why shipping from outside Japan is not accepted

WiFiBOX contains a lithium-ion battery, so shipping may be restricted depending on the country and courier service.
Even when shipping is possible, it may take a long time for the device to reach our facility in Japan.

Risk of additional charges

Late fees will continue to apply until the WiFiBOX arrives at our facility.
If the device is not returned within seven days, it will be treated as lost and a compensation fee will apply.
In most cases, a device shipped from outside Japan will not arrive in Japan within seven days.
Once late fees or a compensation fee have been charged, they cannot be reduced or waived, even if the WiFiBOX arrives at a later date.
Warning
Shipping from overseas may result in significant costs because international shipping fees, late fees, and the compensation fee may all apply.

If you have taken your WiFiBOX outside Japan, submitting a lost device report using this form and paying the applicable compensation fee will generally be the least expensive option.
